Christoph joined 3i in 2022 and is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt having completed an internship at 3i in 2018. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in Germany with a focus on the Consumer sector.
He is involved in 3i’s investment in Luqom Group, the largest European online specialist in the lighting space. Prior to joining 3i, Christoph worked for Amazon in Operations and Supply Chain Management in Germany and the UK. Christoph holds a MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing and Management from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in International Business from WHU.

Tony joined 3i in 1998 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2010. He is a member of the 3i Group Executive Committee, Investment Committee and the Private Equity Leadership Team. Tony currently sits on the boards of Scandlines and MPM.
Outside 3i, Tony is a member of the International Private Equity Valuations (IPEV) Board; Invest Europe's Professional Standards Committee; and the Private Equity Reporting Group (PERG), an independent body that reviews transparency and disclosures within the UK Private Equity industry.
Before joining 3i, Tony worked at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Tony has a Geography degree from Loughborough University.

Ian joined 3i in 1987 and became a Partner in 1994 prior to its IPO on the London Stock Exchange. In his current role as Managing Partner, Asset Management, Ian is involved in investing and asset management activity across 3i Private Equity and Infrastructure.
He sits on the boards of a number of leading, international companies including: AESSEAL (seals for rotating equipment), Cirtec Medical (medical device outsourcing) and Tato Holdings (biocides and specialty chemicals). Ian is the senior independent director of BSI Group, the global standards and services company driving company excellence and resilience, and a former director of 3i Infrastructure plc, the FTSE250 listed long-term investor in infrastructure businesses and assets.
Prior to his current role, Ian led 3i’s Technology business in Europe having invested in areas including security software (Sophos), artificial intelligence (Searchspace), mobile technology (Nujira).
Ian graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Prior to 3i, Ian worked as an Engineer for BOC Specialty Gases in the UK supplying the medical, semi-conductor and space research sectors.

Darcey is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in London, primarily responsible for the origination and execution of new investments in Europe.
Prior to joining 3i in September 2021, Darcey worked for Venture Capital firm 24Haymarket, where she focused on the sourcing and completion of new opportunities and the management of existing assets.
Darcey holds a BA in History from the University of Durham.

Rahul Lulla joined 3i in 2012 as a member of the North American Private Equity team.
Rahul focuses on Business & Technology Services and Healthcare and has been involved in 3i’s investments in Mold-Masters, Quintiles, TouchTunes, Q Holdings, Dynatect Manufacturing, arrivia and WilsonHCG. He currently sits on the Boards of arrivia, Dynatect Manufacturing and WilsonHCG.
Previously, Rahul worked at Monitor Clipper Partners in Boston, where he focused on investments in business services and consumer. Prior to this, Rahul worked at Credit Suisse in New York where he was a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Healthcare Group.
Rahul received a BA in Economics and Mathematics with Honors from Vassar College, and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.

Julien Marie is Chief Human Resources Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee. Julien has overall responsibility for the firm’s talent strategy, the HR operational support and the Human Resources team. He works across all geographies and Business lines.
Prior to joining 3i, Julien worked at Bouygues Construction and Bouygues Telecom for six years.
Julien has a degree in Politics from Sciences Po Paris and a MA in Human Resources from the University of Paris Pantheon-Assas.

Céline is a Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in London. She leads Sustainability and ESG for the Infrastructure team, with responsibility for defining the ESG strategy, driving ambition and progress at portfolio company level and leading consideration of ESG matters through the investment cycle. Céline is also a member of the 3i Group ESG Committee.
Céline previously spent nine years originating, evaluating and executing new investment opportunities, as well as managing both core plus infrastructure and brownfield project investments. She was involved in 3i Infrastructure plc's investments in TCR, Joulz and Valorem and worked on the acquisitions of a number of brownfield projects across Europe, with a particular focus on Portugal. She is a non-executive director on the board of TCR.
Céline joined 3i in 2013, following 3i’s acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited. She spent three years with Barclays in London. Céline holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School (Paris) with majors in Social Business and in Private Equity, and a certificate in Sustainable Investing from Harvard Business School.

Adrien Masson joined 3i in 2021 as a member of its European Private Equity team based in Paris.
Prior to joining 3i, Adrien spent six years at Hottinguer Corporate Finance where he worked on several public and private M&A transactions in France and cross border in the media, industrial, agri-food and consumer sectors.
He holds a MSc in Financial Engineering from Ecole des Ponts Paristech and a MSc in Finance and Private Equity from the London School of Economics.

Severin is a Director in the Frankfurt office. Since joining in 2014, he was a deal team member on 3i’s investments in ten23, xSuite, MAIT, Christ and Formel D. As a core member of the deal team, he led the successful sale of ATESTEO.
Before joining 3i, Severin worked at UBS Investment Bank and was Business Development Manager for Auxilium, a portfolio company of HAL Investments.
Severin graduated with a CEMS Master in International Management from the Rotterdam School of Management and HEC Paris.

Joy heads up 3i's Business Leaders Network. She works across sectors and geographies to build strategic relationships and enable international connectivity with Board level executives and non-executive directors for 3i's existing portfolio of assets and pipeline investment opportunities.
Prior to joining 3i, Joy worked as an Executive Search Consultant at private equity specialist search firm, Skillcapital, placing board level management for private equity portfolio companies and senior advisers pre-deal.
Previously, Joy spent five years working at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management division, with a focus on investment strategy. She holds a first class honours Masters degree in Quantitative Finance from University College Dublin.

Hazel is a solicitor with over ten years’ experience in infrastructure.
She joined 3i’s Infrastructure Team as legal counsel in January 2015, with responsibility for legal risk management, legal and regulatory aspects of new investments, portfolio management and debt financing.
Prior to this, Hazel worked in the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team at Allen & Overy LLP from 2006 – 2014, specialising in infrastructure financing and PPP projects.
Hazel has a MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and is a qualified solicitor.

Tobias joined 3i in 2021 and is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in Germany as well as in the Software & Services sector. He was part of the deal teams on 3i's investments in MAIT and xSuite and is now a board observer for both investments.
Prior to joining 3i, Tobias worked in private equity at Cinven and in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Tobias holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University.

Thomas joined 3i in 2021 and is a Senior Associate in the North American Infrastructure team.
Prior to joining 3i, Thomas was an Analyst at SMBC where he focused on project and structured finance across the North American energy and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining 3i, Ben worked at Macquarie Capital in London, with a focus on Renewable Energy transactions.
Ben holds a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
