Pieter joined 3i in 2004. He was Managing Director of 3i Benelux and was co-Head Private Equity and a member of the Executive Committee from 2019 to 2024. He is based in Amsterdam. He was a key member of the deal teams involved in Yanga, Mepal, European Bakery Group, Royal Sanders, Basic-Fit, Weener Plastics, Lampenwelt, Refresco and Action. He currently sits on the Boards of BoConcept, Yanga, Mepal, European Bakery Group, Royal Sanders and Weener Plastics.
Pieter has more than 35 years’ experience in corporate finance, management and operations. He started his career at Stork in the US, before joining Van Den Boom Groep, a corporate finance consulting firm in Benelux, where he became partner responsible for M&A. After selling the company to NIBC, Pieter headed its M&A department.
Pieter has an MBA degree from Georgia State University (USA) and a BBA degree from Nijenrode University (Netherlands).

Laura is an Associate Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in August 2017. She is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in the infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining 3i, Laura worked in the investment banking divisions of Evercore and J.P. Morgan in London and Frankfurt advising on Infrastructure, Transport and Energy transactions.
Laura holds a MSc in International Business from Maastricht University, Netherlands and Queen’s University, Canada and a Master of European Studies from TU Berlin, Germany.

Christian joined 3i in 2024 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York.
Prior to joining 3i, Christian was an Investment Banking Analyst at Solomon Partners, focusing on M&A advisory and capital raising in the Media and Entertainment industries.
Christian holds a BBA, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, as well as a Minor in Real Estate Development / Urban Planning.

Boris is a Partner based in Amsterdam. He joined 3i in 2005 and has been involved in various deals including Action, Basic-Fit, Hans Anders (now nexeye), BoConcept, Eyes + More, Konges Slojd, Royal Sanders, Refresco and VakantieDiscounter.
He is currently a Board Member at Action. Prior to 3i, Boris worked in the M&A department of ABN AMRO and at Nederlandse Gasunie.

Charlie is an Associate Director in the UK Private Equity team.
Charlie has been involved in a number of 3i investments, including Sussex-based Aspen Pumps, Digital Barriers, a leading provider of IoVT surveillance and security products and Audley Travel, the leading provider of tailor-made travel. Charlie is currently a board member of Audley Travel.
Prior to joining 3i in 2019, Charlie worked in the Industrial group at Evercore, advising clients on M&A and restructurings.
Charlie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Economics.

Danny joined 3i in July 2024 and is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure team based in New York.
Prior to 3i, Danny was a Private Equity Senior Associate at SDC Capital Partners where he helped execute equity investments in the digital infrastructure sector, including fibre and data centres.
Danny holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University.

Hannah joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. She is involved in 3i’s investment in Q Holding and ten23 Health.
Prior to 3i, Hannah was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Media & Communications Group at Citigroup, where she focused on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
Hannah has her B.S. in Business Administration and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Sean joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. He has since been involved in 3i’s investments in arrivia, RedWeek, and insightsoftware.
Prior to joining 3i, Sean was an Investment Banking Analyst with Jefferies in the Global Technology Group, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
Sean graduated from Emory University with a B.B.A. in Finance and Information Systems, with high honors.

Anil joined 3i in 2007 and is the Partner responsible for 3i's Banking & Risk Team within the Private Equity division. Anil and his team have worked on comprehensive transactions across 3i’s international platform including Scandlines, Mayborn, Norma, Xellia, Civica, Memora, Refresco, Action, Hilite, Amor, GEKA, Christ, WP, ATESTEO, Havea, Luqom, Formel D, Evernex, MPM, xSuite and Constellation.
In addition to the Debt Capital Markets activities of the team, Anil sits on the Partner Review Panel and also acts as a Second Partner on new transactions evaluated by 3i Private Equity.
Anil has over 28 years of experience, having started at Lloyds Bank Corporate Banking in 1995. Anil subsequently worked for Dresdner Kleinwort from 1999, where he held various positions in Credit Risk Management, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance & Advisory, completing landmark transactions across a wide range of geographies, sectors and financing structures. Anil studied at Sussex University and holds a BA in Economics. He is an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers.

Prior to 3i, Julia was an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup in their Media & Communications Group, where she focussed on the telecom sector.

Ben joined 3i in 2017 as a Partner in the North American Infrastructure team. Prior to joining 3i, Ben was an Investment Director at Hastings Funds Management where he was responsible for the origination, execution and management of infrastructure equity investments. He was a member of Hastings’ Investment Committee and Asset Review Committee. Ben is on the boards of Smarte Carte, Regional Rail, Shared Tower, EC Waste and Amwaste.
Earlier in his career, Ben was an Associate in the Global Commodities Group at Lehman Brothers focusing on structured commodity transactions involving power, natural gas, coal, renewables and emissions for independent power and regulated utility clients.
Previously, he was an Analyst in Lehman's Global Power Group focusing on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and corporate advisory to power and utility companies in the United States.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Colgate University.

Stijn joined 3i in 2023 and is an Analyst in the Benelux Private Equity team.
Prior to joining 3i, Stijn gained internship experience in Investment Banking at Rothschild & Co, Private Equity at NewPort Capital and sell-side M&A at Oaklins.
He holds a BSc in International Business Administration from the VU University Amsterdam, and a MSc in Finance and Investments from the RSM Erasmus.

Kathryn is Group Communications Director. She is responsible for corporate reputation, media relations, internal communications, digital communications and charitable partnerships.
Kathryn oversees the communication of 3i’s financial calendar activity and its international communications, which involves managing a network of PR agencies across 3 continents. During her career at 3i, she has advised its private equity, infrastructure and debt management business lines and has worked across all its geographies.
Kathryn previously spent 5 years at Biddicks, a consultancy which specialised in providing financial PR advice to small and mid-cap, publicly quoted companies.
Kathryn has a degree in English law and European law from London university.

Thibault joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its European Private Equity team and is based in Paris. He is involved in 3i’s investment in Constellation, an IT managed services provider specialised in hybrid cloud and cybersecurity.
Prior to joining 3i, Thibault worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Paris (BCG). Thibault began his career at L.E.K. Consulting and completed internships at Lazard in M&A and at EY in audit.
Thibault holds an MSc in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po Paris.
