Neel Mistry

Associate Director

Neel is an Associate Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in January 2016. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals and the management of assets in the infrastructure sector.

Prior to joining 3i, Neel worked as a Financial Analyst at Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

Neel is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Money, Banking and Finance from The University of Birmingham.

Scott Moseley

Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure

Scott Moseley joined the Infrastructure team in 2007 and was made Partner in 2012. Scott became Managing Partner and Co-Head of European Infrastructure in July 2022 and is also a member of 3i’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.

Together with Bernardo Sottomayor, Scott is responsible for managing a team with approximately £6bn in invested capital across four Infrastructure funds, including our flagship fund, 3i Infrastructure plc, which has achieved asset level returns of 19% p.a. since its inception.

Scott has direct investment experience across various sub-sectors including Digital Infrastructure (Tampnet and GCX), Energy (Elenia and ESVAGT), Transportation (Eversholt Rail Group) and Social Infrastructure (Cross London Trains).

Mick Mulder

Mick joined 3i in September 2021 and is a Senior Associate in the Amsterdam Private Equity team. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in the Benelux and is part of 3i's Consumer sector team. He is a deal team member of BoConcept, Mepal and de VakantieDiscounter. He currently sits on the Board of de VakantieDiscounter.

Prior to joining 3i, Mick worked at Lazard in the Benelux Investment Banking team.

He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University, and a MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Oliver Müllem

Oliver is a Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team and joined 3i in 2022. Oliver is based in Frankfurt and is responsible for the origination, execution and management of private equity infrastructure investments in the DACH region.

Prior to 3i, Oliver worked for DIF Capital Partners in Frankfurt where he led various transactions in the European infrastructure market. Previously, he worked in the Transaction Advisory Services division of Ernst & Young.

Oliver has a Masters degree in civil engineering and business administration from the Technical University Aachen (RWTH) and a Masters degree in finance from the Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Justine Nahum

Justine is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity team based in London.

Justine is involved with 3i's investment in Audley Travel, the leading provider of tailor-made travel.

Prior to joining 3i in 2021, Justine worked in the M&A team at Credit Suisse, advising clients on M&A transactions across the Consumer and Industrials sectors.

Justine holds a Masters in Finance from Imperial College.

Marc Ohayon

Marc is the co-head of the French Private Equity team and specialises in Services and Software investments.

Since joining 3i in 2016, Marc's investment track record includes 3i's current investments in Constellation (IT managed services provider specialised in cloud and cyber) and Evernex (a global provider of maintenance services for critical IT infrastructure) as well as past investments in Havea (a European leader in the natural consumer healthcare industry), Etanco (a manufacturer and distributor of fasteners) and Weener Plastics (a manufacturer of innovative plastics packaging solutions for FMCGs). He is a Board member of Constellation and Evernex. 

Marc began his career in Financial Advisory at Lazard in the Paris team, where he was involved in French and cross-border transactions in the consumer, industrial and health sectors. He then assisted large corporates and European SMEs in their M&A strategy in Latin America during his time at Euro Latina Finance, an advisory boutique specialising in the region.

Marc holds an MSc in Management from EM LYON Business School.

Claudio Ossanna

Claudio joined 3i in September 2019, and is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure team based in London. He is responsible for the origination and execution of new investments in Europe, as well as supporting the activities of portfolio companies including Oystercatcher, Belfast City Airport and SRL Traffic Systems.

He has previous experience from Barclays Investment Bank and CVC Credit Partners.

Claudio holds a MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris and a BSc in Economics from Universitá Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

Justin Pabst

Justin joined 3i in February 2018 and is an Associate Director in the Amsterdam office. He is focused on the Consumer sector and is a deal team member for Mepal and BoConcept. He currently serves on the board of BoConcept.

Before joining 3i, Justin was a Commercial Project Manager at Coolblue in Rotterdam, and prior to this worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam.

He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University, and a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking from Duisenberg School of Finance, Amsterdam.

Telman Papikyan

Telman joined 3i in 2022 and is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in Germany. He is involved in 3i’s investment in Weener Plastics. 

Prior to joining 3i, Telman worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas in Germany, and as an Investment Associate at Palladio Partners. 

Telman holds an MSc in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Lars Parnet

Lars joined 3i in 2023 and is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He focuses on originating and executing investments in the DACH region, particularly in the Software & Services sector. He is involved in 3i’s investment in MAIT. 

Before joining 3i, Lars worked in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and gained additional experience at Montagu Private Equity and Rivean Capital. 

He holds a BSc in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Nikhil Patel

Nikhil joined 3i in 2016 in the New York office and is a member of 3i’s Healthcare sector coverage team. He participates in all elements of the investment process, including industry segment analysis, identification and screening of new opportunities, due diligence, transaction structuring, financing and execution. He currently sits on the Board of SaniSure, ten23, Q Holding and Cirtec Medical.

Prior to joining 3i, Nikhil was a Vice President at Chicago Pacific Founders, where he was an integral member of a debut middle market private equity fund and participated in the acquisition of three portfolio companies. Prior to joining CPF, Nikhil was a Senior Associate at Water Street Healthcare Partners, a mid-market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion of capital under management. While at Water Street, he helped execute a number of platform investments and successful portfolio company exits. Nikhil was previously an Analyst in the Global Healthcare Investment Banking division of UBS Investment Bank.

Nikhil graduated from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business with Honors.

Bastiaan Peer

Bastiaan is a Partner and Head of 3i’s Benelux Private Equity team. He is a deal team member for Basic-Fit, European Bakery Group and Royal Sanders. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of European Bakery Group and Royal Sanders. Previously, Bastiaan served on the Board of Directors of Kinolt and Yanga and was an Observer on the Boards of Azelis and BoConcept. 

Prior to joining 3i, Bastiaan worked in the Benelux Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Amsterdam. 

He holds a Masters degree in Financial Economics and a Masters degree in Financial Law from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Marta Pinto

Marta joined 3i in October 2021 and is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure team based in London. She is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals and the management of assets across the economic infrastructure space.

Prior to joining 3i, Marta worked in Sumitomo Corporation Europe, with a focus on deal origination and execution, and asset management, and in the investment banking division of Société Générale as part of the Energy and Infrastructure team.

Marta holds a degree in Biomedical Science from Queen Mary University of London.

Edward Pike

Senior Legal Counsel

Ed is a qualified solicitor who joined 3i’s Infrastructure Team as legal counsel in September 2017.

He has responsibility for legal and regulatory aspects of new investments and divestments, portfolio management and legal risk management.  Prior to joining 3i, Ed worked at the law firm Travers Smith LLP from 2012 to 2017, specialising in M&A and private equity.

Jia Qin

Jia joined 3i in 2024 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. She is involved in 3i’s investment in Q Holding. 

Prior to 3i, Jia was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer Group at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where she focused on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.

Jia has a B.S. in Finance and IT with a concentration in Business Analytics from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, as well as a Minor in Computer Science.

Malavika Rajagopal

Malavika joined 3i’s Infrastructure team in New York in April 2023.

Prior to 3i, Malavika was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources Group. Before joining Goldman Sachs, she was an IBD Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Malavika holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
