3i promotes 10 investment professionals in its Private Equity business
3i, the leading international investor focused on mid-market private equity, infrastructure and debt management, is pleased to announce it has promoted 10 investment professionals in its Private Equity business. These are comprised of 3 Partners, 3 Directors, 3 Associate Directors and 1 Senior Associate.

In addition, Joy McCormack has been promoted to Director of our Business Leaders Network which connects our businesses with exceptional Executive & Non-Executive talent across the globe. Furthermore, over the past 6 months, 3i has added 5 new Associates to its Private Equity business across the UK, Germany, Benelux and Sweden.
This news follows a successful year for 3i’s Private Equity business which made three new investments in GIF (Germany), Basic-Fit (Benelux) and JMJ Associates (UK / North America) and a further investment into Scandlines (Nordics), together with 15 bolt-on acquisitions across the portfolio. In the year to 31 March 2014, the Private Equity business delivered a 30% gross investment return across Europe and North America and generated £1.1bn of proceeds for 3i and funds managed by 3i.
