3i Group joins FTSE100

FTSE Group (“FTSE”) has confirmed that 3i Group will be joining the FTSE 100 Index.

The changes to the indices take place following the FTSE’s UK Index Series quarterly review, which is approved by the independent FTSE Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional Advisory Committee. The rules-driven reviews ensure the indices continue to portray an accurate reflection of the market they represent, and form an essential component to the management of the indices.

All changes from this review take effect from the start of trading on Monday 23 June 2014.
