3i Debt Management appoints investor relations Director in Asia

3i Debt Management (“3iDM” or the “Company”) has announced the appointment of Lisa Johnson as a Director, focused on investor relations in Asia, and based in Singapore. Her appointment demonstrates 3iDM’s commitment to expand its business in Asia and to focus on developing its client relationships.

Lisa brings strong investor relations experience having worked in a similar role at Parker Global Strategies, most recently as Senior Vice-President, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a variety of investors. Lisa has worked in a number of cities across Asia, including Singapore, Mumbai and Shanghai, for the last seven years. She has built strong and long-lasting relationships with leading investors including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pension funds, endowments and foundations.

3i Debt Management has grown substantially since its launch in 2011. As at 31 March 2013, total assets under management of 3i''s Debt Management business were £6.4 billion (c. $10 billion) compared to £3.4 billion (c. $5.4 billion) as at 31 March 2012. This demonstrates the strength of 3iDM’s platform and concrete progress against 3i’s objective to grow income from third-party assets under management over time.
