3i invests £5m in Bridges Ventures Fund III

3i, an international investor focused on Private Equity, Infrastructureand Debt Management, today announces that it has invested £5m at first close into Bridges Ventures’ sustainable growth fund, Bridges Ventures Fund III. 3i has committed a further £5m subject to the overall fund size achieved at final close.

Today’s commitment follows investments by 3i in Bridges’ previous 2 funds. These funds have invested over £75m in 34 companies which focus on achieving significant social impact in underserved areas in Education & Skills, in Environment and in Health & Well-being.
