3i appoints Deputy Finance Director
Julia Wilson has joined 3i in the new role of Deputy Finance Director. She will be responsible for the finance, taxation and treasury functions at the company.
Julia, 38, was previously at Cable and Wireless plc which she joined in 2000, and where she had been Group Director of Corporate Finance since December 2003.
She began her career in 1990 in the tax practice of Arthur Andersen, before moving into industry with roles at Hanson plc and Tomkins plc.
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Ball, 3i Group Finance Director said:
