Building more homes is key to the charity’s goal of supporting more veterans. Thanks to the generosity of 3i and the charity’s other partners, RBLI has been able to keep its construction work on track and expand its community.

The charity was privileged to welcome The Princess Royal in October 2023 for the official opening of 40 new homes and its 24 apartment Assisted Living home.

In 2024, RBLI will open its first Multi-Occupancy Home providing emergency accommodation for female veterans who are homeless or fleeing from domestic abuse. This will be a significant development for RLBI’s facilities and a key step towards creating a fully diverse community on its Village.

RBLI's Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company is the UK’s leading social enterprise providing employment to military veterans, as well as to those with disabilities, and is a national market leader in the production of road and rail signs.

As soon as I walked into the flat it felt like home. Living at Centenary Village has improved my life and that’s brilliant. I’ve outlived my friends, but there are new friends here and this is my home.
