Sophia is ESG & Sustainability Director within 3i’s Private Equity business, with responsibility for leading the consideration of ESG matters through the investment lifecycle, defining the team’s ESG strategy, and providing support to portfolio companies across Europe and North America. Sophia is also a member of the 3i Group ESG Committee.

Sophia holds a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (“CISL”), and is a member of the Invest Europe Human Rights Working Group

Sophia previously spent 11 years in 3i’s Fund Investor Relations team, having joined 3i in 2011. She holds an honours degree in History from the University of Durham.
