With an investment track record of over 70 years, we are proud of our heritage in backing world-class companies. We have over 65 investment professionals across offices in six countries and our portfolio companies have a presence in 75 countries.
We partner with founders and management teams of mid-market companies, headquartered in Europe and North America, with an enterprise value typically between €100m - €500m and international growth potential.
Access to both our balance sheet and external capital allows us significant flexibility in how we finance deals and the length of our investment hold period.

Financing support
Our in-house banking team has an international remit and is responsible for our relationships with financing institutions, providing advice across all financing stages for new and existing Private Equity portfolio companies. The team has worked on 11 transactions and raised over €6.5bn of debt in the 12 months to 31 March 2024.

Active Partnership describes the way we work with our portfolio companies to achieve their full potential. We partner with the founders and management teams of our portfolio companies to set the strategy for the business and develop a blueprint for the next 3 to 5 years, covering areas such as international growth, M&A, commercial and operational improvements, and governance.
